FORT WALTON BEACH — A 20-year-old woman was arrested and charged with child abuse Thursday, the day after deputies found a 7-month old baby alone and crying in her filthy apartment.

The baby girl was strapped in a car seat, wearing a diaper overflowing with urine and fecal matter, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office offense report.

i went to school with Jennifer, the mother. ive talked to her several times and im absolutely disgusted by all of this. i cant help but feel sorry for the baby and complete anger at the mother. anyone that could let this happen to their own baby should rot in jail for a long time. the baby had a yeast infection, urine burns, rashes, blisters, a mishapen head from bring strapped in a baby seat for so long, as well as extremely weak muscular structure. going to clubs and partying instead of taking care of your OWN child is so fucked up. fuck you jennifer and all your friends that knew this was going on.
